Finolex PVC pipes and fittings are synonymous with superior quality, robust strength, and unequalled durability. PVC stands for polyvinyl chloride, one of the most widely used polymers in the world. Due to its versatile nature, PVC is used extensively across a broad range of industrial, technical, and everyday applications. PVC pipes are manufactured using PVC resin as a raw material through an extrusion process.
Finolex Pipes are made from high grade in-house manufactured PVC resin and advanced extrusion machines and subjected to numerous quality tests to ensure extreme weather withstanding capacity and perfect for everyday usage.
A reputation we have earned by being tough on ourselves by keeping tight. checks on raw materials, processes, compositions, and thicknesses.
PVC pipes are mainly categorised into Unplasticized PVC (UPVC) & Chlorinated PVC (CPVC) pipes.
UPVC stands for Unplasticised PVC, which means no plasticiser has been added to the PVC compound. Unplasticised PVC is also known as rigid PVC. Manufactured with added strength and crafting precision, Finolex PVC-U pipes have a prolonged life advantage over conventional pipes surpassing most or all traditional metal and other plastic pipes.
CPVC is a thermoplastic produced by chlorination of polyvinyl chloride resin. CPVC is significantly more flexible than PVC and can also withstand higher temperatures. Finolex CPVC Pipes are manufactured using high grade raw material and the latest technology, making them ideal for hot and cold-water applications. These pipes can withstand higher temperatures as compared to any other plastic piping system.
Finolex Plumbing pipes are designed for potable water distribution as well as plumbing. It can be successfully used in the following applications:
Finolex PVC pipes and fittings have superior quality, robust strength, and unequalled durability. Manufactured with added strength and crafting precision, Finolex PVC-U pipes have a prolonged life advantage over conventional pipes surpassing most or all traditional metal and other plastic pipes.
Finolex ASTM plumbing pipes and fittings contain stabilizers to protect pipes against harmful UV rays present in sunlight. Even after several years of usage, the performance of pipes is not affected. PVC pipe used in permanent outdoor exposures is recommended to be protected by light coloured water-based paint and not oil based paint.
PVC pipes normally have 57 % chlorine in it, as against, 67 % chlorine in CPVC. This enhanced chlorine % in CPVC, makes it ideal for cold and hot water plumbing applications and it can withstand higher temperatures of running water.
Finolex ASTM Pipes can safely be used for plumbing applications including potable or drinking water. Finolex ASTM pipes are manufactured by using high grade Finolex PVC resin and unique compounding which is lead free. Thus, it is safe for potable water supply.
