Introduction
We at Finolex Industries Limited (hereinafter referred to as “Finolex/FIL”), are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. This Recruitment Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use and disclose your personal data during the recruitment process. This notice has been drafted as per the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other industry specific legislations to the extent applicable. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on the following legal bases:
- We take consent before processing your personal data for recruitment purpose
- We process your post recruitment data for legitimate purposes including but not limited to:
- for fulfilling any obligation under any law for the time being in force in India on any person to disclose any information to the State or any of its instrumentalities, subject to such processing being in accordance with the provisions regarding disclosure of such information in any other law for the time being in force;

Data retention
Our policy is to retain personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in the section “Purposes of processing”. Retention periods vary in different jurisdictions and are set in accordance with local regulatory and professional retention requirements. In order to meet our professional and legal requirements, to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights and for archiving and historical purposes, we need to retain information for significant periods of time. The total retention period is defined and will be implemented in accordance with the Finolex data retention policy and applicable data protection laws. Log Data will be retained in accordance with the IT Logging Policy and CERT-IN guidelines. After the end of the data retention period, your personal data will be deleted.
We shall, unless retention is necessary for compliance with any law for the time being in force, erase your personal data if you withdraw consent as soon as it is reasonable to assume that the specified purpose of such data is no longer necessary. However, if necessary, as per policy we may retain your information for our compliance with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations or for archiving purposes as per the requirement of Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act,2023, as amended from time to time or any applicable law in force and/or the Act.

We will protect the confidentiality and security of information we obtain in the course of the recruitment process. Access to such information is limited, and policies and procedures are in place that are designed to safeguard the information from loss, misuse, and improper disclosure.
Your rights in relation to your personal data
